Marysville Tour: Betor Dry Goods

12. The rock structures located on this site were the home of Betor Dry Goods. They were last used in the 1940's as the Cotton Club Saloon and Dance Hall.

The fenced field across the road south of these structures was once the site of the Marysville baseball field and stands. Marysville baseball teams were considered among the best in the Northwest and provided much entertainment and notoriety for the community. Hearsay has it that these early contests were made more interesting by the presence of a keg of beer in the third base coaching box.
